Whilst 24 Mill Street is a very old property with a lot of character it is quite a tall building and the stairs between the ground and first floor are original and are therefore narrower and steeper than modern stairs. Accordingly No.24 is not suitable for children, the very elderly or those with mobility problems.

It is usually possible to park on the street outside or very close to No. 24. However parking can be difficult if a festival or fair is taking place. Between 8am and 6pm on Mondays to Saturdays parking is metered £2.20 for three hours or £1.10 for two hours and there are several pay and display machines in Mill Street . There is also a local authority pay and display car park off the Castle Square about 4 minutes walk away. The long stay council car park for Ludlow is at the junction between Lower Galdeford and Weeping Cross Lane and is £1.80 per day. This is about 950m away on foot and is about an 8 minute walk . There is an all day private car park in the Linney below the castle which is (I think) about £1.00 per day and some guests use that as it is closer and is about 5 minutes walk. It is much smaller than the long stay council car park.
